A question for pro-choicers beings a bunch of Abortion post are popping up on my dash.
Those of you that are Pro-Choice and think it’s perfectly okay for a
woman[person] to have an abortion please answer me this…would you abort a litter of puppies/kittens or any other type of animal for that matter? Or would you think that was cruel? If you wouldn’t abort an animals fetus because you feel as though that would be cruel please explain to me how that is cruel and aborting a human fetus isn’t. I am Pro-Life and curious as to what people will answer to this question.Fixed that cissexism for you, as not only women get abortions.

So, uh, asking my opinion on something that occurs NATURALLY is kinda moot. If the Dog is doing it itself then who am I to get in the way of what it needs to do to survive?
NOW, if someone is preforming an abortion on an animal without the animals consent, then that’s an entirely different story. Human people can consent, animals can’t [at least not currently and not to people]- this is why it’s okay to have sex with a person who consents but bestiality is a no-no. Please use some common sense when you’re thinking of these totally serious questions.
An ex of mine’s family did actually have to get an abortion for their dog due to medical reasons. Because believe it or not, medical reasons that threaten the life of the mother if the pregnancy is carried to term do happen. And in those cases the only thing that’ll save the situation is an abortion.
And really now, you can’t sit back and say oh you wouldn’t abort cute things now would you! and have that be your entire argument. Use some goddamn logic and facts to back up your shitty fucking point.
If my dog got pregnant (before I had her fixed), and the pregnancy was threatening her life, I would have the puppies aborted. No question. If my dog got pregnant and I didn’t want to bring MORE puppies into the world, I would terminate her pregnancy. It’s not cruel, it’s merciful.
What a fucking stupid question.
